UCLan Cyprus co-organizes “China 2015 Family Business Conference”

CEDAR, the Centre for Entrepreneurship of UCLAN Cyprus, in cooperation with Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), are organizing a Family Business conference on 7-8 September 2015.

The China 2015 Family Business Conference is an academic forum that aims to share leading-edge research and best practice of entrepreneurial development of family businesses. The forum will also explore policy initiatives that can support the predominant owner-managed family business economy to realize its growth potential and sustainable success. The China 2015 Family Business Conference will lay the foundation for inter-continental collaboration across academic programmes, research initiatives and industrial partnerships.  

The Conference will be hosted by the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), will start on September 7th with an introductory speech by the Conference Chairs Prof Yiming Wei (ΒΙΤ) και Prof Panikkos Poutziouris (UCLan Cyprus). Plenary sessions and presentations of research articles will also be included. September 8th will involve panel debates on policy issues and a forum with family business entrepreneurs and advisors.

The China 2015 Family Business Conference is one of a series of outreach initiatives led by CEDAR- the pioneering Centre for Entrepreneurship in Cyprus.
